About Cinnamon J. Mihm

Cinnamon is a mother, wife, and grandmother. She is a retired Deputy Sheriff and currently the Director of Investigations. Her writing reflects her life experiences as a retired Deputy. In 2019, she began her journey as an author, inspired by the love of family and the desire for memories to be preserved.

In 2019, her journey as a writer began, but the tragic death of her granddaughter Faith, just before her second birthday, gave it greater meaning. Cinnamon learned how fast time passes with children, grandchildren, and loved ones. Cinnamon's books were a way for her to preserve these fleeting moments. They offer families stories that encourage gratitude and presence.

Her collection of Sunsets, Top of the World and The Ride belongs on every shelf of Children's Books to inspire families to share moments together. Her work, with its vivid illustrations, heartfelt stories, and timeless messages, is one of the most popular children's books that families return to time and time again.

Her picture books for children are full of warmth, gratitude, and the magic that comes with seeing the world from the perspective of a young child. Cinnamon's tales encourage readers to appreciate and cherish the beauty of everyday moments, whether they are family adventures or outings. Families are embracing her work as they search for the Best Children's Books, which combine the charm of vivid illustrations and heartfelt storytelling.

Cinnamon loves spending time with family and friends when she's not writing. She finds joy wherever she is, whether it's at the beach, in the mountains, or in the desert. She continues to live her lessons in her books, surrounded by her husband Ben and their rescue dog. They also have children, grandchildren, and friends.
